Above are some pictures our free range rare breed pigs and two of our twelve alpacas.

Back To Home

Just over 3 years ago, in 2007, we changed our lives. We had bought 15 acres of land to start our own free range smallholding which was a world apart from our jobs at the time. I was a Commercial Insurance Underwriter and Neil, my husband, was and still is a Line Manager in a distribution warehouse.

The time has flown by and before we knew it we were keeping free range laying hens, breeding free range rare breed pigs for pork and breeding alpacas. Our livestock and my horses keep us busy and two days are never the same. It can be hard work at times but very enjoyable all the same.

We eventually won planning permission to live on site as well. This took a long time and was very frustration on occasions but you just have to keep going when you know what you are doing is right.

We now sell free range pork boxes locally and online.

We don't regret a thing and love our new life,

Maria & Neil
